Two for Tuesday: Monty Python’s Flying Circus

Couldn’t think of anyone else to feature today, so here are a couple by the British comedy group Monty Python’s Flying Circus. I’ve featured plenty of their other sketches, but never their music…

Anyway: First up is Eric Idle singing the praises of money as part of “The Money Programme,” accompanied by the Fred Tomlinson Singers.

Second, here’s Michael Palin singing “The Lumberjack Song,” with the help of Connie Booth, John Cleese, Graham Chapman, and a few of the Fred Tomlinson Singers. Terry Jones plays the barbershop patron, and Chapman plays both the woman and the gumby at the end.

Monty Python, your Two for Tuesday, May 13, 2014.
