Another #1LinerWeds from Lamebook

I know I use Lamebook a lot here, but some of their posts are especially pithy. Like this one, to which I’m sure many of us can relate.

One-Liner Wednesday is brought to you each week by Linda Hill and this station. Now a word from Lever Brothers, makers of Camay soap. Camay makes you feel soft all over!

  1. LOL! Someone has been spying in us.

I look forward to your lame book posts. As much as I look forward to alternate dictionary. It’s how I know it’s Wednesday 😂

  2. Hahaaa…I have a dumb meeting this morning so this is so true and how I hate email threads. That commercial is so funny and now I wonder if Camay is still around

    1. Camay was my mother’s favorite soap and it was all she’d buy, so we’d end up using it, too. You can still get it at a bunch of places, including Amazon and Walmart. We use liquid soap now; it doesn’t create as much of a mess.

Meetings were always the bane of my existence. I can’t sit still that long.

    1. The problem is codifying when to use a meeting, a phone call, and/or an email chain, and when to switch from one to another. That means a committee has to be formed and have a bunch of meetings and produce a massive document that details (and I do mean DETAILS) the appropriate procedure, which then has to go to all the affected department heads… at that point, it’s not worth it…
