Weekly Song Challenge, Round 10

I missed the last couple of Weekly Song Challenges. Things have been so busy with the A to Z Challenge, you know… anyway, let’s see what we have today:

Post a video of a musical commercial jingle. Here’s a 1950’s ad for Oscar Mayer Weiners featuring Thurl Ravenscroft (he’s voicing the short guy).

Post a music video of a song that is geographical. The Bee Gees with “Massachusetts.”

Post a music video of a song from an animated Disney movie. From the oft-maligned 1946 film Song of the South, “Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah,” sung by James Baskett as Uncle Remus. This walks a boundary between animated and live-action, which I say is close enough for blog hops. It won the 1947 Academy Award for Best Original Song.

And that’s it for Round 10 of the Weekly Song Challenge.

    1. Thanks! I see a prompt and songs jump into my head. The hardest one for me was the commercial jingle: there are (or were) so many great ones, especially in the ’50’s, ’60’s and ’70’s, it was hard to pick just one.
