Weekly Song Challenge, Round 13!

Back for another week of Laura’s Weekly Song Challenge! As always, the rules:

  • Copy rules and add to your own post, pinging back to this post.
  • Post music videos for your answers to the musical questions.
  • Tag two people to participate!

Here we go!

Post a video clip from a movie that involves dancing. One of the better scenes in Pee-Wee’s Big Adventure, The Champs, “Tequila.” Look for Cassandra Peterson, aka “Elvira, Mistress Of The Dark.”

Post a video of a song that makes you think of medieval times. Not sure if this is a Medieval thing per se, but here’s Steve Winwood with a solo version of Traffic’s “John Barleycorn Must Die.”

Post a video of a song about sex. Anytime you mention sex and music, I think the big guy: Barry White, “Love Serenade.”

Now, I’m supposed to tag two of you. Tell you what: If you want to play along, grab the badge and follow the directions. OK? OK!

And that’s this week’s Weekly Song Challenge.

Gosh I hope that is the right link. “May It Be” by Enya which is from the first Lord of the Rings movie and Bolero is quite sensual although Barry White is perfect

    1. I never saw any of the Lord of the Rings movies, but Enya’s always a good listen. “Bolero” is a great song (Joe Walsh played it on the second James Gang album), but I wanted to get a little more explicit…
