Weekly Song Challenge, Round 17

Laura tells us she’s busy with a golf scramble today, but left us the musical questions she wants us to reply to this week. So, first the rules:

  • Copy rules and add to your own post, pinging back to this post.
  • Post music videos for your answers to the musical questions.
  • Tag two people to participate!

Post a video of a song that makes you think of your youth. I was a wee lad of 9 when this came out: The Beatles, “A Hard Day’s Night.”

Post a video of a song about having had your fill of BS. Little Walter, “Boom Boom! Out Go The Lights.”

Post a video of a song about being unapologetic for standing your ground. Johnny Cash with an excellent cover of Tom Petty’s “I Won’t Back Down.”

Your turn! Grab the badge and follow the directions!

  1. These are great songs. I think of We are The Champions by Queen about standing my ground. Elizabethan Serenade comes to mind from my childhood and brings a smile to my face. Sheer contentment
