Weekly Song Challenge, Round 19!

It’s time once again for the Weekly Song Challenge, brought to you by Laura Venturini and this station. The rules are simple:

  • Copy rules and add to your own post, pinging back to Laura’s post (the link is above).
  • Post music videos for your answers to the musical questions.
  • Tag two people to participate!

Sound like fun? You bet it is! Here are this week’s questions, along with my responses.

Post a video of a song that makes you think about being a teenager. Brownsville Station, “Smokin’ In The Boy’s Room.” The theme song for my teen years…

Post a video of a song that is about finding your voice. Chip Skylark (from Fairly Oddparents), “Find Your Voice.” I played YouTube Roulette and found this one.

Post a video of a song that represents an “I’ll kick your ass” attitude. Marvin Gaye, “Trouble Man.”

OK, y’all are tagged. Let’s see what you can come up with.

  1. Wow! Great selections! Hmmm – “Smokin’ In The Boy’s Room” – yep, that happened during my teenage years, as well. Man, did they get in trouble!! I didn’t start smoking until I was in college.
