I had originally planned on using a different one-liner, and actually had the post written and scheduled, but the more I thought about it, the more I thought “Yeah….no.” So I was stuck for a one-liner until I read Dan’s, about his cats waking him to tell him they were hungry, and chose to offer a few words of wisdom from my extensive experience of cat companionship. And, with some minor alterations to my advice, it became my one-liner for today.
One-Liner Wednesday is brought to you each week by Linda Hill and this station. Now a word from Texaco. You can trust your car to the man who wears the Texaco star!
I love black cats! We have a bowl of dry food next to our picky feline’s array of water and food. That way she always has something to nibble on.

That’s how we deal with it. I don’t know if either of them are eating the dry food, though. Mary has a better idea of that.

Was a nice throwback – but I thought you were going to share the meow-tones

Cute! I find these collections of old commercials on YouTube and just run the next one whenever I throw a commercial in, unless I know what I’m looking for.

It would generally start with one, who would be joined by another, and later another, and… until we got up and fed them. Hasn’t been that way for a while, though; they’re getting old and lazy.

That’s what I was looking for. The bonus was that it was a black cat. I love black cats.

I keep a little bag of treats by the bed for Mudpie, and when she wants some she starts pawing at the bag in the middle of the night. It’s adorable, and I have no one to blame but myself!

Mine would tear the bag open and have a feast…

I remember my cat, Reggie, every time I move my clock forward or backward for daylight savings time. He was okay with moving it up an hour to have an early breakfast but would complain for a week when the clock was moved back and his breakfast was, in his eyes, late.

Hi, John! Haven’t been around in a while. Had eye surgery and was pretty much out of action for a while. Doing good now.

Basically all gasoline is the same as Texaco, Shell, Exon and many others all buy it from the same supplier
