  2. Ahh, their Hamburg days when they were in some fire pit cellar in the red light district. It’s fun to listen to them singing German

  3. I remember listening to this when I was a kid. Mom loooooooooooove the Beatles and they were on the radio all the time.

  4. I used to listen to this, I’m sure, on one of my dad’s old (mono) LPs, which he’d have bought at the time of the original release. I’ve just looked through my MP3s, which I ripped directly from my CDs, and I can’t find it. It must’ve been dropped at some stage.

    1. I know in the US that it was on a Capitol album called “Something New,” which included the songs from “A Hard Day’s Night” (which were issued on United Artists Records, because they had the rights to the movie and the songs). I have it on one of the “Past Masters” volumes now. Do you remember the album it was on over there?

      1. No, but I have them somewhere so must look next time it is to hand. He had all the early albums – Parlophone here – I think there is even a 45 of Love Me Do somewhere, From about 1964 he stopped buying – saving up to get married. Hope he felt it was worth it!
