    1. From what I’ve read, there were two waves to the British Invasion, one that started in ’64, the other in ’67. I just always thought it was one big invasion. And yes, the music was great.


  1. I’m from Liverpool. I remember the ferry ‘cross the Mersey as a commuter ferry. Cost a few pennies to cross the river. At some point, they realised that it was a tourist destination and the price went up bigtime. I’m not sure any commuters use it any more.
