I’m not the world’s biggest Simon & Garfunkel fan, but this is a good song that I would have played yesterday (on Boxing Day) because of the name. This was from their 1969 album Bridge Over Troubled Water and was the followup single to "Mrs. Robinson." It reached #7 on the Hot 100 and #3 in Canada in 1969.

I like Simon’s melodies a lot…Simon is in love with himself at times but I have to admit I like it.

I like Simon more when he didn’t have Garfunkel with him, but even so, as you say, he’s a bit full of himself.Maybe it’s the fact that everyone considers him such a genius…

I always thought he had a chip on his shoulder about Dylan…

One of the first albums I remember asking for when I was a kid … too young to understand the meaning of the lyrics but I loved the music…the song is great.

I’m not much of an S&G fan, but this is pretty good.

This was one of the few songs of theirs that I liked when it was popular. I’ve become more of a fan over time.

I think I was just tired of hearing how “meeeeeaningful” and “relllllevant” their music was back in the day. I just thought their songs were a lot of word salad…

I’m not sure I really got any meaning out of this song, because it usually sent me up or down the radio dial…
