Deja Vu All Over Again #JusJoJan

Maggie from From Cave Walls provided today’s prompt, scrumptious. When I saw it, I was overcome with the feeling that this word has already been used somewhere for another writing challenge, but couldn’t put my finger on it. So, I checked my archives and discovered that it had been used at the end of Just Jot It January 2018. So, I’m going to send you over there, because I can and because most of what I said there still applies, with the exception of the former Dairy Queen which I said was closed and disintegrating. Turns out, the Chinese restaurant thing did happen. You’ll know what I mean when you head over there. Comments over there are cloesd, in a futile attempt at spam reduction, so come on back here and leave comments. (Suggestion: right click the link and select "Open in new tab" so you won’t lose your place here. Markdown doesn’t do open in another window…)

This is another entry for Linda Hill’s Just Jot It January. Now a word from United Airlines and their Friendship Service.

I had to laugh when they talked about having room to spread out when the center seat is unoccupied. It’s been a good twenty years since that’s happened…

  1. We had a Dairy King, John, which I have written about and you commented on so I will not link it here. Sorry about the repeat prompt. Let the newbies in and there goes the neighborhood!

    1. The place was decrepit to begin with. It hadn’t been painted in years and the wood was starting to shrink and buckle. I’d’ve knocked the place down and build a new one.
