Dazzle! #JusJoJan

The lovely and talented Debbie Gravett chose today’s word, "dazzle."

Apparently, there was a fashion trend called "the dazzling" that involved lots of glitter on clothing, accessories, and whatever. The only reason I know about this is because of an AT&T commercial from a few years ago, which is our ad for today…

AT&T ended this ad campaign, which featured the very lovely Milana Vayntrub. Just in case you were wondering.

Anyway, this is another Just Jot It January post. Linda Hill has all the rules at her site. Now, here’s Richard Gere singing "Razzle Dazzle" from the musical Chicago.

  1. I like this AT&T commercial. The ones they have now are awful along with several others. The insurance company’s commercials are just dumb.

    1. The ones I liked even better were the Sprint commercials with Malcolm McDowell and James Earl Jones reading the text message conversations. Sprint pulled them off of YouTube, unfortunately.

The commercials I really hate are the “save the world for $19 a month” ones. The ones for Liberty Mutual, American Home Shield, Life Alert, the Medicare Coverage Helpline, Senior Life (“we give it all back!”), and there are one or two others that if I never see them again it’ll be too soon. I almost miss Wiford Brimley…
