Last week, I presented three songs called "I’ll Be There," all of which were different and none of which were done by the Jackson 5. The contestants were Emma Bunton, also known as "Baby Spice," S Club 7, and The Escape Club. I’ve tallied the votes, and here’s how it came out.
Emma Bunton: 4
S Club 7: 1
The Escape Club: 6
Congratulations to The Escape Club on their narrow victory, and kudos to Baby Spice and S Club 7, who received but one vote (and they say thank you, Eugenia).
Next Battle will be next Saturday, February 15, so be sure and join us then!
John,
Not a bad battle! My favorite won but I’m sad to see S Club 7 got only one vote. Sorry for being so late to catch your results but I finally got around to it. 🙂

That typically happens with three contestants: one will either be shut out or get very few votes.

Pretty close voting outcome, JOHN.
These songs were not in my wheelhouse (way too 21st Century-sounding for me), but they made for a good BOTB contest nevertheless.

I had a feeling my vote could be the one and only but I liked their sound!

Those are the good ones. The blowouts (especially the shutouts) are really no fun.

Seems like a nice ratio of voter point spread. Even though my girl came in second.
