It’s True…#1LinerWeds

I got punished once and was forbidden to watch Batman one night. It took almost 50 years to finally see it. Turns out I didn’t miss anything.

One-Liner Wednesday is brought to you each week by Linda Hill and this station. Now a word from Lipton tea. The great American quencher!

  1. That’s so true and this includes movies as well that never come on video. I. Glad we no longer have the old fashioned issues with the tv like snow on the tv, the line that kept moving from the bottom to the top and the tin foul attached to the antennae at the back of the tv.

    1. We have an old TV and a digital converter box, and if we don’t turn on the box you see the static but don’t get the accompanying white noise. Digital TV got rid of a lot of problems…

  2. I remember when I had to miss the finale episode of The Fugitive because we were out performing shows at a fair. I still haven’t seen that episode though I do have the series on DVD- However I do not think the finale is included in the set. I need to go back and check to see as I still didn’t watch the entire series even though I’ve had that DVD set for many years now.

    1. It was great, wasn’t it? “You mean I can tape the show that’s on at 3 AM and watch it the next day?” Or “You mean I can go out on Friday night and still see ‘Diff’rent Strokes’?” Or “Now I can watch ‘Miami Vice’ then watch ‘Falcon Crest’ (which was on at the same time)!”

  3. Holy Reruns, John! Biff! Bang! Pow!

I remember sitting next to the TV, changing the channel back and forth between mom’s show and the Pirates game.
