Song of the Day: King Harvest, “Dancing In The Moonlight”

King Harvest was formed by four American expatriates, all Cornell University graduates, in 1970. They were active from 1970 to 1976, and reformed in 2012, 2013, 2015 and 2016. They’ve recorded ten albums, but only had the one Top 40 single in the US, "Dancing In The Moonlight," which they released in 1972 and reached #13 on the Hot 100, #22 on the Adult Contemporary chart, and #5 in Canada.

  1. This is one of my favorite seventies songs. This song has never got old to me.

      1. I was in childhood but hanging out with my big sister and riding along in her Vega that drank oil…great memories.

          1. She carried a case of oil in the hatchback… It was a cool looking car with a racing stripe but yea terrible.
