The Beatles did a lot of what might be considered "country rock" on their first couple of albums (in the UK, A Hard Day’s Night and Beatles For Sale, parts of both albums becoming Beatles ’65 and Beatles VI when Capitol got hold of them). This is one of my favorites. Written by John Lennon and credited to Lennon-McCartney, it features a great solo by George Harrison, who was playing a Gretsch Tennesseean that he had just acquired. Released as the B side of "Eight Days A Week," it charted at #39.

Great song I had almost forgot about it 💜

The Beatles didn’t record that many songs, maybe 200-250, but only about a quarter of them get much attention. This is one that doesn’t get much attention.

But it is definitely one of their better ones isn’t it 💜

They did so many good ones, it’s hard to remember all of them.
