One-Liner Wednesday is brought to you each week by Linda Hill and this station. Now a word from Vitalis with V7. If you want to make time with your girl, better use Vitalis. Heh heh… you know what I mean…

    1. It was more of a tonic than a cream or gel. I had obnoxiously curly hair with a huge cowlick in front when I was in high school, and a friend of mine (who also had obnoxiously curly hair) discovered that if you put a lot of Dippity-Doo on your hair, combed it straight back, and went to bed, by morning (after you combed all the dried goop out, which took forever) the curl was gone. Later I discovered that combing my hair back did the same to the cowlick, and I’ve done that ever since.

My grandmother used Alberto VO5. She had really nice hair; maybe I should have tried that…

  1. I always wanted my mother to get me Vitalis for my hair. but my father used Vaseline Hair Tonic so they figured that was good enough for me. I hated that stuff because it was so oily and it didn’t come in a neat color like Vitalis. IN my senior year of high school when I started growing my hair long I dispensed with any kind of hair oil. That stuff was kind of nasty actually.
