Title track of Seals & Crofts’s fourth album from 1973. Like their first Top 10 hit, “Summer Breeze,” this reached #6 on the Hot 100 and #4 on the Adult Contemporary chart and ended 1973 as its #40 song. In Canada, it reached #10 on the RPM Hot singles chart and #2 on the Adult Contemporary chart.

I love this song and don’t hear it much

So much of the singer-songwriter music from the ’70’s gets no play these days. (Spotify and Accuradio seem to be the places to go to hear it. Accuradio is free, by the way, but whether they stream to Canada, I’m not sure.) It’s a real shame, too, because that was some of the best music ever…

Wow, a blast from the past. I had forgotten about Seals and Croft. Great song but don’t remember hearing it before.

It came out in ’73, if that helps. You might have been in a market wher they didn’t play it, for whatever reason. Doing the survey of the week has taught me that…

I imagine with doing those surveys you learn a lot. They’re interesting to those of us that have been around awhile.

I hear a lot of songs that I’ve either never heard or that I didn’t know I was listening to when I heard them back in the day.

Me too. I would love a song and not know who the group or artist was, in some cases.
