#1LinerWeds from The Comics Curmudgeon

Sorry that I haven’t been keeping you up to date on The Phantom, and I’m not really going to bother catching you up now, but I do want let you know that a flaming skeleton has been berating our hero for like a whole week now and it’s been glorious.

I’m wary about posting cartoons to the blog, so here’s the cartoon he’s referring to.

I turn to Josh Fruhlinger, aka The Comics Curmudgeon, for a daily laugh about the comics (i.e. the “funny papers” I’m always telling you I’ll see you in).

One-Liner Wednesday is brought to you each week by Linda Hill and this station. Now a word about Ragu’s new Pizza Quick homemade Pizza Crust and Pizza Sauce, Chunky-Style. Homemade pizza, easy as pie!

One of those products that didn’t last very long. I don’t think I’ve ever seen this except for in the commercials. Frozen pizza now is almost as good as what you can get delivered…

    1. I guess it wouldn’t make much sense even if you saw the cartoon, anyway. I don’t read the comics much nowadays, so Josh’s blog shows me the ones he thinks are funny (and usually so do I, maybe because of his description of what’s going on).

    1. We swear by the Home Run Inn pizzas. You can get them at Publix. Home Run Inn is a restaurant in Chicago, and they make thin-crust pizzas. The crust is a little thicker than New York style, but it’s not the pan or stuffed pizza everyone tells you people in Chicago always eat. There are places you can get frozen pan pizzas (Lou Malnati’s online is one), but I prefer the HRI ones.
