A song by Holly Knight and Mike Chapman, this song appeared on Pat Benatar’s 1983 album Live From Earth, although it was a studio track. It had originally been "written as a ballad with a beautiful melody and beautiful chord changes," but producer Neil Giraldo decided to make it an uptempo song. The track spent four weeks at #1 on the Mainstream Rock chart and #5 on the Hot 100.
Always liked the music of Pat Benatar. I remember seeing this video a lot during the MTV days of music videos. Pat reminds me of my second wife except my wife couldn’t sing like her.

I watched MTV mostly when I was traveling, and got tired of the “anything but music television” that it became. We had a restaurant near us that had TV’s and they would run music videos nonstop. Now that’s what I call music television…

So do I. Great blues singer when she has a mind to. My favorite of her albums is “True Love.”
