This edition of The Week That Was is brought to you by Kellogg’s Frosted Flakes, the taste you never outgrow. They’re GRRRRRRREAT!

I don’t know about the rest of you, but we’ve been having beautiful fall weather here. Well, OK, it’s been raining on and off (which isn’t a bad thing), but we’ve been having daytime temperatures in the lower 70’s (around 22° C) and overnight temperatures close close to 60°. Fall is falling into place quite nicely, thank you very much.
Didn’t do a darn thing in Real Life™ this week, but plenty went on here. Let’s see what I mean…

- (Song Lyric) Sunday: Ella Fitzgerald, “Night And Day”
- Monday: Thompson Twins, “Hold Me Now”
- Tuesday: Howard Jones, “Things Can Only Get Better”
- Wednesday: The Romantics, “Talking In Your Sleep”
- Thursday: Kajagoogoo, “Too Shy”
- Friday: Wang Chung, “Everybody Have Fun Tonight”
- Saturday: Chaka Khan, “I Feel For You”
I haven’t had anyone tell me they’re sick of ’80’s music yet, so we’ll probably do it again next week, unless one of you has a better idea.
We were either to do songs about making art, or use our school colors to come up with a playlist. I used my current school colors of blue, green and silver to come up with a playlist.
We had our helping of questions related to Harry Potter & The Half Blood Prince as well as some "muggle" questions. I came up with some clever answers that you can read by clicking the badge.
We visited KGB radio in San Diego and found out what they were playing in September 1971.
I do have a Battle of the Bands going right now, a contest beteen Karla Bonoff and Joe Cocker using two different songs named "The Letter." I’ll keep the voting open until Tuesday, then announce the winner next Tuesday.
My one-liner dealt with sanitation on airplanes and how it’s changed because of Covid-19.
I addressed the issue of everything going pumpkin spice around this time of he year, when pumpkin pie spice is used in everything besides pumpkin pie. Maybe that’s the reason they dropped the "pie" and just call it "pumpkin spice." I was happy that some of you learned that pumpkin spice doesn’t actually have any pumpkin in it…
The featured artist this week was Gerry Rafferty.
I spent some time talking about life as a procrastinator. I recommend it highly.

I’ll likely be spending time putting together a book that Mary’s been after me to do for I don’t know how long. I talked about it a little yesterday in my #socs entry. So this week will be like most of the weeks leading up to this one, although I might be a little less responsive to comments. I’m not ignoring anyone. I’m hoping to have a breakthrough that’ll make things a whole lot easier.

Ain’t it gorgeous? Kind of cold at night, which suits me fine.
