
The lovely Janis Joplin would be 78 today. Here she is from a performance on This Is Tom Jones, where she and the host do a pretty wild version of "Raise Your Hand," which was part of her concert repertoire (she sang it at Woodstock), but didn’t appear on an album until her 1993 collection Janis. She and Tom look like they’re having a hell of a good time.
