Menagerie is such a big word for such a little girl! She was so cute in these films. Love her facial expressions as she sings.

She was the same age as my mom and my mom always liked her and saw her movies, In German, when she was little. It’s hard to believe she was be 93 today. She was THE biggest star even outflanking Clark Gable and was quite the wunderkind. Just think how many lyrics is in this song that she memorized. She is the biggest child actress to this day and she came out of aok becoming an Ambassador to the former Czechoslovakia. (I think I am right there).

She was also Ambassador to Ghana and the Chief of Protocol, if I remember correctly. Not just song lyrics, but all those dances with Bill Robinson, lines from the movies, etc. And she was drop-dead gorgeous when she was a teenager.
