Song of the Day: Kenny Loggins, “I’m Alright”

Happy 66th birthday to actor Michael O’Keefe, who played Danny Noonan in the 1980 comedy classic Caddyshack, which starred Ted Knight, Rodney Dangerfield, Chevy Chase, and Bill Murray. The theme song for the movie, "I’m Alright," was written and performed by Kenny Loggins; it reached #7 on the Hot 100 and #5 in Canada.

  1. I could watch Caddyshack anytime some network chooses to show it. The one-liners in that movie could keep me going for a few dozen Wednesdays.

    1. “Hey, who stepped on the duck?” “Hey, honey, I bet you were something in the days before electricity. How’d’ya like to make 17 bucks the hard way?” (Remember, you started it…)

      1. Haha – “Let’s go, while we’re young.” “Buy a hat like that and I bet they give you a free bowl of soup…oh, but it looks good on you.” “That must be the tea.”
