Saturday evening, I heard that singer B. J. Thomas had passed away from lung cancer at age 78. We extend our sympathy to his family. "Hooked On A Feeling," from his 1968 album On My Way, reached #5 in the US and #3 in Canada in 1968.

  9. I debated whether I should blog and BJ Thomas but in the end I chose to go with my original thought to take the holiday off. My older sister introduced me to his music when I was quite young.she loved playing the piano and was always learning to play his tunes.

    About a year ago it was my ringtone, and people would say, why did you pick up the phone, we want to keep hearing the song. :)

    It’s not uncanny that I was listening to “Raindrops Keep Fallin’ on my Head” on a loop the last few days.
    RIP, cradled in almighty’s arms, B.J. as the raindrops shower you with the heaven’s choicest blessings.
