Happy 85th birthday to George "Buddy" Guy, Chicago blues guitarist extraordinaire. Buddy is the last connection to the older generation of bluesmen such as Muddy Waters, Howlin’ Wolf, Willie Dixon, John Lee Hooker, Little Walter, and others. "Damn Right, I Got The Blues" is the title track from his 1991 album, on which he was joined by Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck, Mark Knopfler, and the Memphis Horns.
This was excellent to listen to. I love it. I wonder if he thinks he is the last of these biggies?? My brother loves the Blues so I know he knows about this man and his works.

Oh, he knows. He played with just about all the old-timers.
