Happy heavenly 70th birthday to singer/songwriter/pianist Andrew Gold. His 1978 song "Thank You For Being A Friend" was used as the theme song for the popular TV show The Golden Girls, sung by Cynthia Fee. "Lonely Boy" was his most successful single, reaching #7 in the US and Canada and #11 in the UK in 1977.
