I always enjoyed this group! Most of their songs are upbeat and fun to dance to.

The kind of band you wished played at your prom, right? The one downtempo song I can think of is “Because,” which is just a beauty…

Fun band that I always liked ever since I heard Glad All Over.

It’s sad they didn’t stay as popular as the Beatles did. Dave Clark was fussy about licensing, and a lot of their stuff didn’t come out until after he died. They were different from the Beatles, with the keyboard and saxophone: theirs was called the Tottenham sound.

Is Dave Clark dead? I didn’t know that. Yea they had more of a bigger band and wasn’t as guitar driven as the Beatles.

Sorry, my mistake, Dave is still with us. He hasn’t played since 72, but he’s got plenty to keep him busy. I must have been thinking of Rick Huxley, who died a while ago.

They sound so much like the Beatles here. I like the song and it would be fun to dance to.

They called theirs the “Tottenham Sound,” music from the northern suburbs of London. Very similar and yet different…
