Time to answer Mary B’s challenge once again… It’s a Fab Four WSC!
A Song with Please in the Title: The Beatles, "Please Please Me"
A Protest Song: The Beatles, "Revolution 1" (from the white album)
A Song with Fall in the Title: The Beatles, "If I Fell" (past tense of fall)

See you next week with a brand new show!
We match with the first one! I finally got my post up. I, too, almost went with all Beatles or Beatle people. I almost chose “Give Peace a Chance” but I went another route. Great choices! I love the last one…is that from “A Hard Days Night?”

Excellent job and bonus points for using one band for all!

Can’t go wrong with The Beatles! I’m glad you chose #1 instead of #9. :D

I don’t think you could consider #9 a protest song, though I’m sure Yoko (who most likely put it together) would say it was.

Autumn Leaves? (Actually not called that in its original French).

“Les Feuilles Morts”? (I think that’s how it’s spelled.)

Indeed. The (used-by-Bach) chorale Durch Adams Fall ist ganz verderbt occurred to me, too– Fall still the same in English, with the same meaning as the Beatles (“If Adam Fell…”, mutatis mutandis).
