My dreams don’t look like this, but I’m sure for some they do. My dreams are full of cubicles and Coke machines and cigarette machines, and doors that lead to concrete patios that I never walk out to see. And restrooms, and convenience stores, and hotel rooms, and cafeterias. Occasionally a train will pull up and I’ll get aboard, or I’ll be riding in a car along roads that fork constantly, one tine taking me on one adventure, the other taking me on a completely different one.
The waterfall is interesting, because at night I sleep to the sound of rain falling or waterfalls gushing water. And no, I haven’t missed the mountain in the back that looks like a mandrill emerging, or the cloud kitty chasing the cloud fish, or the chimpanzee on the left side of the picture. Maybe I should look around during my dreams more. What lies behind me and from side to side while I’m looking in front of me?
Maybe I don’t look because I’m afraid of what I’ll see. More likely, though, I don’t think about turning my head…

Funny how you dream about coke machines and driving around! When I am really stressed out I dream about waitressing! Its always the same restaurant and the same people…just different crap I have to deal with and almost always bomb! Thanks for participating!

Not really. The set may be roughly the same, but they’re all different.

John,
My dreams are a tangle of events that don’t make sense and often forgotten by the time I wake up. Usually, the only thing left in the mornings are the feelings from such craziness scared, relieved, happy, weird, … Last night’s dreams were the same but no feelings attached this time. Maybe it’s because I have a headache and I woke up around 3am to only go back to sleep just before the alarm went off. I need to take a nap today. π

My dreams are usually weird. Like running from a zombie invasion that turned out to be killer rabbits, or being chased by an invisible dragon that only I could see, or running from the Mob into a group of zombie Michael Jacksons. And sometimes the dreams are about work. Sometimes they are about a movie or TV show I’ve watched. Sometimes my old pets turn up in my dreams.

I remember dreaming about several of my departed cats singing to me, and I woke up crying.

Every night I have a dream of going back to work setting up a show. But it is always in a theater I donβt know where anything is and I always protest that I am retired and canβt work anymore. And I am working with stagehands I worked with over the years but now they are all dead.

I don’t dream about work, although some of the settings are in office buildings. I think I’d be as frustrated as you if I actually had to do something…

I wish I had dreams like what shows here. I am dreaming about death, funerals, rooms and cities that seem cramped and..yes, Godzilla crashing through buildings coming for me.

That would be scary, unless King Kong was in the same movie…
