Song of the Day: Dr. John, “Right Place, Wrong Time”

Singer-songwriter-keyboardist Mac Rebennack, better known as Dr. John, was born on this day in 1941. His music combined blues, pop, jazz, boogie-woogie, funk, and rock and roll, along with a New Orleans feel. He was a session musician as well as a featured peformer. "Right Place, Wrong Time" was his most popular single, reaching the Top 10 in 1973.
