Singer Freddie Cannon, also known as Freddie "Boom Boom" Cannon, is 85 years old today. He had eight Top 40 hits, three that made it into the Top 10. He was a frequent guest on American Bandstand and sang the theme song for another Dick Clark show, Where The Action Is! "Tallahassee Lassie" was a #3 hit in both the US and UK in 1960.
