Song of the Day: Paul Rodgers with Jeff Beck, “I Just Want To Make Love To You”

Singer Paul Rodgers, who was lead singer for Free, Bad Company, The Firm, The Law, and was also a solo artist, turns 72 today. Ranked by Rolling Stone Magazine at #55 in a list of "Greatest Singers Of All Time," he’s been cited as an influence by John Mellencamp and Freddie Mercury. In 1993, he recorded Muddy Water Blues: A Tribute to Muddy Waters, where he covered a number of Muddy Waters’s more famous songs, accompanied by Brian May, Buddy Guy, Brian Setzer, Jeff Beck, and others. Here’s "I Just Want To Make Love To You" from that album, with Jeff Beck on guitar.
