#bloganuary: Here Goes Nothing

Today’s prompt is: Write about the last time you left your comfort zone.

Gee, it’s been such a long time since I’ve stepped out of my comfort zone that I can’t remember the absolute last time it was. There might be some later times than this, but…

The last time I remember was on Halloween, 2014, when I published this, announcing to the part of world that includes most of my family that I was writing a blog. In other words, started publicizing it on Facebook. I used to publish the notifications on my personal timeline until Zuckerberg decided that it was taking up too much valuable advertising space. Now, I have all the announcements popping up on the blog’s page.

Tally-ho and away we go!
See you next week with a brand new show!

  1. I left my comfort zone when I lost my job after 30 years. Now i am still out of my comfort zone. What will the year bring?

      1. Yup…September sucked. My niece told me she finds me insensitive and judgemental and wants her space. The next day hubby ended up in the hospital-kidney stones. Less than a week later, on a zoom call I was told “Unfortunately, due to restructuring, we must let you go effective immediately.” I did not expect this. A week later my hubby had laser surgery to blast the large kidney stone. a week after that, he had his hernia operation. A week after that, they took out the stint (no freezing or drugs) and a week after that I had my total hysterectomy. This year I hope will be better.
