
Comedian, actor, radio and TV personality, and jazz aficionado Soupy Sales (born Milton Supman) was born on this day in 1926. His sons, bassist Tony and drummer Hunt, have worked with Todd Rundgren, Iggy Pop, and Tin Machine with David Bowie. Soupy recorded "The Mouse" in 1965 when he was doing The Soupy Sales Show from New York. It reached #67 on the Hot 100.
