The End Of January Week That Was

This edition of The Week That Was is brought to you by Snickers. You’re not you when you’re hungry. Snickers satisfies!

Thanks to everyone for their anniversary wishes. Mary and I had a quiet couple of days at home, which is always great.

I hope everyone in the northeast who’s getting snowed on like crazy is safe and snug in your houses and that everyone who’s going to be out shoveling snow takes the necessary precautions not to have a heart attack. I talked with Fabulous Auntie Jill and she tells me that they’ve had snow in Chicago as well. You could, of course, do what we do here in the South: wait until it all melts. Yeah, like that always works…

Bloganuary ends tomorrow, as does Just Jot It January. In their place, I’ll be participating in A Television Show Draft that’s the brainchild of Hans over at Slice the Life, and I’m probably going to participate in Bee’s Love Is In Da blog, which I overheard Jim and Barbara talk about.

I got artsy-fartsy today and created some new heading graphics. Let me know how you like them. So, without further ado, here is…

Thanks to:

And that’s it for this edition of The Week That Was.

  1. Hi John – so pleased to have your selections – which I do so enjoy. Equally delighted you and Mary enjoyed your quiet time together … celebrating 40 years is special … all the best – Hilary

  2. Thanks for the mention, John! The Love Is In Da Blog challenge is always fun, and the prompts sound pretty interesting this year, too. 🙂

  3. I hope the reviews get going ~ I’ve now sent mine in 3x to make sure they have it! I flirted with the idea of doing the love songs but decided not to. I’ll look forward to yours!
