KTNT is now KITZ, broadcasting a news/talk format. The station was started in 1952 by the Tacoma News Tribune, and there was also a KTNT-FM (now KIRO-FM) and KTNT-TV (now KSTW). Here’s their survey from this date in 1975.
- Grand Funk Railroad, “Some Kind Of Wonderful”
- Eagles, “Best Of My Love”
- Donny & Marie Osmond, “Morning Side Of The Mountain”
- Barry Manilow, “Mandy”
- Carpenters, “Please Mr. Postman”
- Average White B and, “Pick Up The Pieces”
- Linda Ronstadt, “You’re No Good”
- Stevie Wonder, “Boogie On, Reggae Woman”
- Tim Moore, “Charmer”
- Neil Sedaka, “Laughter In The Rain”
And that’s Top Ten Tuesday for February 1, 2022.
Donnie & Marie seem out of step in this list:)) I enjoyed listening to all of them including Mandy and Laughter In The Rain. Great list as always

These are all good songs but then I enjoy songs from the 70s.

Me, too. The one I hadn’t heard before was “Charmer.” I don’t think it made the charts in Chicago.

‘Charmer’ sounded familiar when I listened to it but I don’t remember it being a major hit.
