Today, we’re supposed to come up with a love song from 2012, and I was pretty much at the mercy of the listings of the Hot 100 on Wikipedia, and I think I got a good one. The Blogger’s Best Friend tells us
"I Don’t Want This Night to End" is a song co-written and recorded by American country music artist Luke Bryan. It was released in September 2011 as the second single from his album Tailgates & Tanlines. The song, written by Bryan, Rhett Akins, Dallas Davidson and Ben Hayslip, is a "guy meets girl" love story.
It peaked at #1 on the Hot Country Singles chart and #22 on the Hot 100, as well as coming in at #93 on the 2012 year-end Hot 100 and #17 on the year-end Country Songs chart. In Canada, it peaked at #1 on the Country chart and #48 on their Hot 100. It was certified platinum in Canada with 80,000 units sold, and 5x Platinum in the US for selling 5 million copies.

A country song is a given for the love fest even if it is not my cup of tea:))
