This edition of The Week That Was is brought to you by Mardi Gras paper towels, the towel that does more for your kitchen than just clean it up.

Last week, after I posted that Mardi Gras was on Tuesday of last week, Eugi corrected me. Seems it’s this week. Thus the name of the post. Oopth…
Thank you to everyone who left a complimentary message on my Writer’s Workshop post about the birth of this blog. I really appreciate all of them, and all of you.
Another quiet week around Chez Holton this week. That’s to be expected, as is switching browsers, this time back to Firefox. Yes, that’s the most exciting thing that’s happened around here.

I played catch up today! I’ve been busy with resume crap on Thursday, Groceries and crap Friday and visiting my mom’s best friend yesterday. If that lady ever finishes a sentence, I will be knocked over with a feather.

I hated writing resumés. That’s why my career stalled: I didn’t want to have to write one. I think everybody needs to rewrite theirs quarterly, if for no other reason than to see if your career is stalling. It’s a pain in the backside, but it has to be done.

I remember when paper towels were pretty. Bathroom tissue, too. Seems like about a century ago.

Mom always bought colored toilet paper until she couldn’t get it anymore. Wonder if it just fell out of fashion or someone made it illegal?

Pretty sure it’s illegal. Environmental regulations.

Busy busy man. I don’t remember those paper towels at all.

I do, barely. I don’t think we ever used them…
