Trombonist, bandleader, and war hero Glenn Miller was born on this day in 1904. This 1941 record features Miller and his orchestra, The Modernaires and Dorothy Claire. "Perfidia" (Spanish for "faithless") was written by Alberto Dominguez in 1939.

  The first version of this I heard was The Ventures. Not quite as glamorous as this one, but the tunes is great.
