It’s been a long time since I’ve been on a trip, business or pleasure. Sometimes I miss it. Sometimes.
Nowadays, it’s enough of an adventure to walk, lest I trip and end up on the ground. I’m especially vulnerable at that point, because I’m heavy and my right leg doesn’t want to co-operate. A classic case of "I’ve fallen and I can’t get up."
I was once told I was a "real trip." I took it as a compliment, even though I’m pretty sure they didn’t mean it as one. That’s a goal of mine,to be a "real trip." I’ve gotten considerably less goofy as I’ve gotten older, but that doesn’t mean I don’t still aspire to certain things.

Linda runs Stream of Consciousness Saturday. Now a word from Kentile Easy-Clean Vinyl Floors.
I would be proud to be called trippy or a real trip.

Yeah. In my book, if someone is a “real trip,” that means interesting, fun, outside the box. I aspire to become goofier in my old age. Thankfully, I still have a little time to practice before I get there.

I would take it as a compliment because you are going against the status quo. I have been told this also and stated I found that wonderful.

I didn’t know trip was an adjective too.

Just a noun, the adjective would be “trippy.”

I hear you, John. My two bad knees got worse recently when I went down a flight of stairs on my back and tried to get up. Right now the trip I am looking foreword to is navigating the stairs again.
