Song of the Day: Diana Ross, “Touch Me In The Morning”

Soul diva Diana Ross celebrates her 78th birthday today. Her fist fame was as lead singer of The Supremes in the late ’50’s and early ’60’s. She launched her solo career in 1970, and since then has released 25 solo albums and scored a number of Top 10 singles on the Pop, R&B, and Adult Contemporary charts. 1973’s "Touch Me In The Morning" was her second #1 single on the Pop and Adult Contemporary charts and #5 on the R&B chart.

  1. I was just telling my husband yesterday that I’d like to see her live. We are anxiously awaiting the Mountain Winery lineup for this coming season.


      1. There are more concerts now, yes. Some places still want proof of vaccination, which I don’t mind at all. They are still charging an arm and a leg though, as if they are trying to recoup the losses of the last two years in one show!
