British session vocalist Tony Burrows celebrates his 80th birthday today. He was a vocalist on a number of hits in the late ’60’s and early ’70’s, including Edison Lighthouse’s "Love Grows (Where My Rosemary Goes)," Brotherhood of Man’s "United We Stand," The Pipkins’ "Gimme Dat Ding," and White Plains’s "My Baby Loves Lovin’," which reached #13 on the Hot 100, #9 in the UK, #4 in Canada, ad #16 in Australia in 1970.
Even the oldies stations that exist seem to play a lot of non related music!

There aren’t that many Oldies stations anymore, at least not on broadcast radio. We had one in Atlanta and this was playing all the time.
