Soul singer and songwriter Luther Vandross would be 71 years old today. Sadly, he passsed away in 2005. "Never Too Much" was the title track from his 1981 debut album. The single reached #1 on the R&B/Hip Hop chart and #4 on the Club Play chart and #13 in the UK, was certified Platinum in the US and and silver in the UK. The album went 2x Platinum in the US.

It’s also the birthday of my own beloved Mary. I won’t say how old.
