
Blues singer-songwriter William Samuel "Blind Willie" McTell was born on this day in 1898. He was a twelve-string fingerpicking Piedmont blues guitarist who recorded 149 songs from 1927 until his death in 1959. "Statesboro Blues" was later covered by Taj Mahal and The Allman Brothers Band.
It just shows how many Rock songs started from such early songs. I love this but I am one for this Old music
