Baritone Levi Stubbs, who sang with The Four Tops from 1953 to 2000 and briefly in 2004, was born on this day in 1936. "Standing In The Shadows Of Love" is from their 1967 album Reach Out, though the song was released in late November 1966. Levi sings lead on this song, which reached #2 on the R&B chart, #6 on the Hot 100, and #6 in the UK.
