Song of the Day: Howlin’ Wolf, “Spoonful”

Chester Arthur Burnett, better known to blues fans worldwide as Howlin’ Wolf, was born on this day in 1910. He played guitar and harmonica and sang in his own distinctive style, and influenced many British Invasion artists as well as American blues and rock players. "Spoonful" is a Willie Dixon song that Wolf recorded in 1960.
