Song of the Day: O. C. Smith, “Daddy’s Little Man”

Jazz and R&B singer O. C. Smith was born on this day in 1932. His biggest hit was 1968’s "Little Green Apples," but I always liked this one better. "Daddy’s Little Man" was written by Mac Davis and reached #34 on the Hot 100, #9 on the R&B chart, and #6 on the Adult Contemporary chart. It peaked at #17 on the WLS Silver Dollar Survey in October 1969.
