This is right up my alley! How I danced the nights away with these songs. In fact, I have Billy Idol on my blog today, buy a different song. He was at my university in 1983 and have no clue how we got him but I was dancing only a few feet away from him. It was in a gym!

Mary had Styx (who were playing under a different name) playing a dance at her high school, and I saw Muddy Waters a couple of times in high schools. Particularly in their early days, bands would take any local gig they could get…. We had a band in Chicago called The New Colony Six, and they were on a kids’ show…
The woman in the clown suit is Elaine “Pandora” Mulqueen…
