KIKI in Honolulu was originally a Top 40 station, then changed to Oldies before it swapped frequencies with KHVH, moving to 990 AM. They changed formats several times after that, and are currently an affiliate of Fox Sports Radio. Here’s their Top Ten from July 13, 1970.
- “United We Stand,” Brotherhood Of Man
- “Hitchin’ A Ride,” Vanity Fare
- “Ohio,” Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young
- “My Baby Loves Loving,” White Plains
- “Ride Captain Ride,” Blues Image
- “Wonder Of You,” Elvis Presley
- “Love On A Two Way Street,” The Moments
- “Everything Is Beautiful,” Ray Stevens
- “Make It With You,” Bread
- “Forevermore,” Tokyo Happy Coats
And that’s Top Ten Tuesday for July 5, 2022.

8 out of 10 this week, John. I’m sure I’d recognize the others if I heard them.

That’s one of those songs that seems to get better with age. Same with “Dancin’ In The Moonlight” and “Ride, Captain, Ride.”
